My guess is because we have played one game fewer

Shame Stockport couldn't score a third against Colchester, then we would have moved up two places

It might be because we have won one more game than Bradford.

I think DU has nailed it here. If we have played one game less, then it makes our PPG higher, which is the criteria they used when the 2019/20 season was curtailed.

On BBC there is often a slight delay between updating the score in a match and in updating the live tables accordingly, so maybe Newport still had a point for the 0-0 at the start of the match

Yes that may well be the case.
I thought it might be on games won because that is also performance related.
