I have noticed this season .....

From memory In our league this season when a team gets hammered by conceeding 5 or 6 goals they seem to have a habit of not losing the next match

unless I am being delusional (again)   there also seem to be a lot of hammerings for clubs  of all abilities in this league

Gaz might perhaps comment 

 it didn't work for us after the Morecambe match though

As usual I never had the time to follow up on this but ironically  at the time of posting this thread to my amazement the most Harrogate had conceeded in the league was 3 

and I know Stockport hadn't conceeded 4  - so presumably their max was 3 conceeded

then we get out of the blue Mansfield who don't score a lot and often draw (and also get their fair share of sendings offs)

9 and Harrogate 2

and in their  next matches Mansfield manage to lose on Walsall's " narrow pitch" and Harrogate survive (somehow)   in the Battle of the Alamo style to get a nil nil draw away

Meanwhile Stockport   concede 4 goals for the first time this season

so every team in the league now has had a hammering ( well let in at least 4 goals)
