How's things Donny fans?

Just wondering how things are for Donny and much happened since you played us a few weeks back? Kind of 2nd team after meeting a few Donny fans last season for a drink and a good laugh etc.

Also nice win against our inbred brothers from across the bridge

Good luck for the rest of the season!

Actually Ger, we're wondering if we can catch you.... Looks like you are having a wobble. although it's unlikely, it's not inconceivable that we could win a few. 8 points. Hmm.... :)Mind you, we do seem to wreck centre halves. I can't even work out now how many we've crcoked this season. Martis. Lockwood. Shackell. Ward. And they're just those currently injured. We're running out. Got any decent spares?

How's Ridsdale going down these days? An untrustworthy oik if ever I saw one. I hope he doesn't do you over. Still, at least he's not Munto Finance....

Cheers

We've got 1 Centre half we signed from Everton who's out on loan somewhere but no idea where he went! Our Skipper is injured until the end of the month so running with just 2 CB's and our LB covering if he has to in their position.

Bit of a wobble with 4 fit players doesn't really help at all.

Players out at the moment

Ledley(Off the boil CM)
Mcphail(Our creative player)
Whittingham(Our top scorer and a dangerous player all round)
Hudson(Skipper and good CB)
Kennedy(decent old head to have)
Commingues(squad player)
Maggenis(Striker- youth product)

Ridsdale said Friday night before our planned protest that fans want to look at themselves in the mirror etc. We laughed. 2000 protested before the game Sat but we give the team the full support as we always do on Sat. They dug deep and got the 3 points which they deserved really.

can you give us some good news on how long whittingham is likely to be out.

many rovers fans have backed billy sharp at fancy prices for league top goalscorer [ 40/1 , 50/1 etc. ] he's now just two behind.

Whitts is about a week or two away from full fitness it seems. He's turned himself around bigtime, used to be on the beer all the time but this year a massive difference. A left winger being top scorer in the league. Mental fairplay, if he keeps on the way he is, he will be gone next season if we don't get promoted
