I think the video link library idea is excellent. You could also add videos by Mr. Croft that I've seen on YouTube and yes Dazza's are great (I may have nicked a bit of his footage for \"one vision\")

The next one I'm considering is a goal of the season competition with voting here, on BBC and on YouTube. What do you reckon?

I've just been searching for Dazza on YouTube. Whilst this isn't a 'Rovers video to make you cry' it sure does showcase - in less than 30 seconds - a guy with editing talent to burn. Come back Dazza. Rovers need you.

Ok, the goal of the season will be up at the end of the season.

On the video link library, that should be something the administrators can set up. It's essentially just another forum area...call it Viking Videos. It's then up to us to title threads sensibly so we know where things are.

If there's a better idea out there...,.let's hear it.

We'd have to look at the hosting package we have, as I think it could be an area that gets very popular. Cant think it would be too much of a problem though.

Rather than hosting the videos, Rob, I was thinking we could just add a page with screenshots/links to videos on Youtube, and link to said page from the top nav bar?

Only problem with that is if they get taken down from youtube, as football vids occasionally do due to the FL copyright.

That's true Rob.

I think if you do some work editing such that the clips you lose aren't too long, you stand more chance of getting away with it.

The only other thing is management. Forum memeber would have to trport broken links and adminstrators would have to delete the threads / links. That makes it a bit of work of course but its a case of \"see how it goes\" I think.
