Southall didn't play that many games for us so that certainly narrows it down a bit but I can't find one where the opposition keeper was sent off.The first 2 home games of that season were a midweek game v Southport, where we lost 1-0 and had Shaun Goodwin sent off, and then maybe the game you're thinking of v Kidderminster which was Rovers's first win in the Conference. The Kidderminster game Rovers won 1-0 with a Goodwin penalty and Kiddy had their full back Webb sent off just before half time, the date was Sat 22nd August and the Rovers team that day was:N SouthallS ShawK McIntyreI SnodinM HumeC SutherlandJ MinettS GoodwinD MaamriaT WrightS MaxfieldSubsL WarrenG KirkwoodD BeckettAttendance 3,222Mark Yates and John Deakin were in the Kidderminster team that day too.Hope this helps.Another more memorable game involving Southall and a sending off was away at Southport a few weeks later. Rovers were 2-0 up but ended up loosing 3-2, with Ian Snodin being sent off for dissent just as his brother Glynn was coming on as a sub for Southall. 'Big Nev' had been injured earlier in the game and had decided he couldn't carry on after Southports 3rd goal. Southport were a real bogey team for us in the Conference.
In that Southport game, Darren Brookes replaced Southall in between the sticks.
I just need a program now!

Aye, Southport and Northwich Vics seemed to be bogey sides in those days. I remember speaking to my mate during the season we got promoted back into the league saying to him that we'd get up that year because neither of these two had beaten us that season! I may be wrong, but I'm pretty certain that was the case!
