Programme subscription
« on July 30, 2010, 08:27:27 pm by Dr Fundlekrotch »
I've had an email from the publishers offering me the home games' programmes for £75, including cup matches.  Did anybody take a subscription last season?  If so, do the programmes arrive on matchday or not until after?

Any chance you can publish details up, Al.  I'm thinking there may be other exiles (not that you are too exiled, that is) who would like to get the programmes too.

It seems this is a mistake. It is meant for Barnsley fans. As you can see below........

As a special thankyou we are offering an exclusive Doncaster Rovers programme subscription which includes all Barnsley home fixtures including league, cup and friendlies PLUS this fantastic offer also includes two FREE MATCH TICKETS for Rovers vs Norwich City on Tuesday 14th Sept.  If you already have tickets or you are a season ticket holder you can bring two friends along to the match with you!

I couldn`t give a rats arse about Barnsley Home fixtures including league, cup and friendlies.

Hopefully this shower of sh@t don`t get any replies.

It does actually seem worthwhile, pricewise, but not if they don't arrive till three days after the match

Depends if you have any friends! :S

If not, you need at least 25 home matches to break even (presuming the programme is still £3 this season). Although we have drawn Accrington at home this season, we not get any more cup home games, so you may only get 24 programmes for your money.

I agree it is a useful service for those not going to the games, or want to guarantee getting each programme.

I wonder if the programme will improve at all this season, or if any of the suggestion put forward at the request of the club are taken on board.
