Portsmouth vs Doncaster Rovers

I'll start us rolling again with Viva Rovers' match preview.

I'm not confident for this game, but then I've rarely been confident going into any game in the last ten years and we seem to have faired pretty well. Will gladly take a draw.

I'm not really up for this. Which is a shame, I usually relish away days, and I'm glad to be going to another ground I've never been too before. But I'm not optimistic we can win this one really and I'm not looking forward to the long-ass train journey there or back.

That said we can win this game, just depends which team shows up. We will be punished for silly defensive errors against these guys.

I said on Tuesday that we would get a draw against burnley and a win against Portsmouth, that is a cracking four points for a weeks work by the squad. 1-2 tomorrow.

Here's hoping you're right, Barmby! Looking forward to going down to Pompey in the morning for my first visit.

With Lawrence banned and an injury list nearly as long as ours, this could be a good time to play them (although the first couple of weeks of the season, when they had the teaboy and the groundsman's dog on the bench, would have been better!)

I'll take a draw now, so let's say 1-1 with Healy to score.

Cotterill has paid compliment to us. He said that they won't underestimate us even though the press think its an easy 3 points for them.

Sounds like he's big mates with SOD so he knows what to expect. Could be good or bad!!

I can't see us getting anything from this one either I'm afraid - tho to be fair the only games I would've backed us to lose this season so far have been Cardiff away and Reading away - all the others I've felt we could get something from! Will just see how it goes - not too hopeful tho, anything better than 0 points will do for me!

Hird in Shiels out? Looks like five at the back.

Or 4-1-3-1-1?

This looks a harder task than Cardiff against players of Nugent, Kanu and Kitson statue!

Extremely hard task awaits!

Its a bit early in the season to be talking of the \"Mansfield Moment\", but seeing as its already been brought up this week.... ;-)
