I'm Rovers.

I won the leauge cup in my first season, beating Sunderland,Blackburn,Chelsea and Wolves on the way to winning it,remarkable really.  :)

I'm 2 points off the playoffs with 6 games left in the leauge.

After winning the leauge cup i have already booked a place in the europa leauge next season,it would be strange if i was in the championship. :chair: :chair:

Stocks just signed a new deal too. :) :) :)

I managed to win the League Cup as well as the Championship in my first season :P & if you go up, I'd keep an eye on the club bank balance, cos that always ends up being my undoing.

 Brandy, definitely, and Paul Gallacher's a good keeper. Other than that, just the people already mentioned, but the squad's been strong enough for me without much reinforcement.

I got knocked out in the qualifiers :-(

I've already signed Adam Rooney and he comes in the summer.

£27million in my second season.

He's a good one to bring in, and can hack it in the PL too.

No idea mate  never got why they even bothered with telling you things like that.. I guess you could make things more defensive when you're against a big side? :S it's a tad pointless, really

Right took Donny up in my first season, beat the dirty blades scum 3-0 in the play-off final, also won the leauge cup in my first season.

Got 33.5m

TEAM:

Alex Smithies.

Steven Whittaker.
Phil Jones.
Jay Demerit.
Matthew Kilgallon.

Keith Andrews.
James McFadden.
Jonothan Greening.

Michael Owen.
Leigh Grittiths. (35 goals last season and only 20)
Ricardo Fuller.

BENCH:
Jerzy Dudek.
Giles Barnes.
Nyron Nosworthy
Craig Gardner.
Tom Soares.
Chris Wood.
Billy Sharp.

What do you think?

About to play second leg of my europa leauge qualifier, won the first leg 2-0 with Owen and Demerit scoring. Half way there.

Very good squad, should stay up if nothing goes horribly wrong. Better if you can sell out every weekend too. Never thought to sign Fuller..

Fire his ass

I think it means that your defenders or midfield are being outnumbered. All I'd suggest is dropping a CM back to DM or a Stiker back into Midfield

Right in start of April now with Rovers.

Above the relegation zone by just one point so its going to be tight finish,i crashed out of the 3rd of both the League cup and the Fa Cup so that was disappointing,i lost in the first knockout round 2-1 against FC Twente which wasn't too bad after getting through the group stages.

Leigh Grittiths is my top scorer, only 10 goals but still better than nothing especially for a 20 year old,Phil Jones has been sensational and i really like him...

Smithies is a great keeper and is pushing for the England shirt already.

A few will have to leave in the summer as the wage bill is far too big at the moment but aslong as i stay up i won't be too bothered...

Beckham signed in January and hasn't been too bad really, decent wages too only 23k...

Lets hope i can stay up B)

Yeah,gift of the gab ;) :P

I tried getting him at the start of the 2nd season but he wanted 115k a week which was completely unreasonable so i had to wait till January when he rejected to stay at La so i went in for him,he rejected my first offer but the second time he signed... :) :) :)

Right haven't been on much recently but managed to keep Doncaster in the premierleauge :rtid:

Signed a few players.

Kris Boyd - Free
Shaun Wright Phillips - free
Scott Brown - free
Jermaine Jenas - free
Ryan Babel - free
Jamie O'Hara - free
Ryan Perez - Regen on a free
Robert Phillips - Rejen on a free
Neymar - 20m upfront and 15m over 48 month.  :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

David Beckham wouldn't sign a new deal and went to Middlesborough,no real loss to be fair, loads of players were released for me this year from Donny...

Also i got the Austraillia job and there doing well for the world cup qualifiers so far. :scarf:

Building a very good squad, lets see how it goes.

 how'd you manage to drop on so many good players (and Kris Boyd ) for nothing? legend :P

Bargain for Neymar - cost me upwards of £40million once.

 good plan :P

If you play him in the right roles - for me, it was treraquista or inside forward, and either on the wing or behind the striker(s).

I'm determined to do a write up soon, I just never get around to it  I'm gonna start a new save soon (although the new game comes out in little over a month).

It's a shame there's no conversion program to let you continue a save in the newer program :-(

Well ive still got my game going where I left DRFC and joined Portsmouth.
Relegated with Portsmouth due to financial problems and having to get rid of pretty much the entire first team squad.

Near the top of league One now, I think i'm in the fourth season of the game. Le Fondre is my main man. Scoring for fun.

What are your finances looking like now? I usually find myself around £24million in debt if I go up, even in the first season, and even if I haven't spent anything on players :S

Anyone to look out for in your current season? If I ever get that far before FM12 I may keep an eye on it
