Great goal by Billy. We need to take advantage of this early lead and keep pushing forward.

What was the goal like? Anyone who's listening.

Reporter on Final Score didn't even know the scorer: \"was it Coppinger who put it in, I can't remember?\"

Got the ball 20 yards out turned and scored, a minute after he had just hit the bar

Take it the BBC's description is a bit off the mark then?

\"Billy Sharp scores a goal from inside the six-yard box to the bottom left corner of the goal. Ipswich 0-1 Doncaster.\"

the guy on player whose name always evades me made a point that billy seems to be scoring a different kind of goal lately, with him doing the same thing against wolves at home.

Dunno just going on what Chris Mortley said, he said that it was the second time he`d done that this season, recieving the ball with his back to goal turning and scored, I just had a picture of the Wolves goal in my head

From ESPN:

\"Goal!! Billy Sharp hits a very good right footed shot to the lower left corner from the right penalty area (aprox. 6 yards) and scores!! Doncaster Rovers now leads 1 - 0\"

EDIT:  still clear as mud to me..

Loud and clear here, 30 miles out in the atlantic. The odd break in audio that's all.
However, this forum is as wobbly as ever

i think chris was making a point that he received the ball with his back to the goal, turned and fired in, rather than the distance...so it probably was 6 yards.

Took me several attempts to get in today.  Finished up clearing the 'remember me' check box and retyping password and it worked.

I have counted \"a good save by Neil Sullivan\" three times so far, can those knocking him shut up now?

No! not when he is to blame. We blame other player's when they are at fault. Let's hope the last 2 games were just a blip in form and he's over it now.

HT:  Another goal and I think we'll win this. Can't see Ipswich coming back from 2 down.
