Doncaster vs Preston

Welcome to the most important Lucky Pint thread of the season! :scarf:

I thought I'd post a link to the PNE prediction forum for tonights match; a small insight into the minds of supporters of PNE and the \"orange one\": http://www.pne-online.net/forum/showthread.php?54508-Prediction-League-Doncaster-Away-%2812-4-2011%29 :P

An overwhelming victory for PNE looking at that thread, plus a few draws and only 2 wins for us. They seem to know and fear the name of Oooooooh Jamie Jamie.

I'd gladly take a 0-0.

This was a tough game up there, and but for Sulli and woeful finishing, they could have had 6. Twas the usual Donny coming out and footballed them to death, but they worked us out and cut us open time after time 2nd half. Defence was in chaos that half, and midfield no better in stopping this.

However drawing on the positives, we totally outplayed them then for 45mins. I expect them to batter us big style and in our faces closing us down (just the type of team we hate). I hope and trust we will be equally effective in just not allowing them space and time. The main threat looks to be coming from ScarHead.

I would be tempted with playing Euell up with Hayts and I strongly believe we will score goals. The rest of the team is as per Saturday with Moussa/Oster vying for the left berth and the one missing out on the subs bench. Oster's experience/knowledge of our inter-link play or Moussa's raw energy, ability to cause them worries etc etc

2-0 Donny. Hayter, Shelts

I can sense a humdinger. I think Rovers will be going for it like some demented, dribbling, points-thirsty, footballing maniac. Mr Orange will talk endlessly into his karaoke earpiece mic, whereupon a voice at the other end will be uttering the words: \"Phil, ahv told yee beforra. Yerr not in tha premier league any morra. Thez no-one listening to ya Phil. We can't afforwad a tekk-nikkal / takk-tikkal coach sat in the stand at Norwth-End Phil. Bloody gerrronwiit yer great big orange blouse.\"

Rovers 3-3 Preston

A scruffy 1-0 will do me- although I think a draw is the most likely outcome.

Just hope Scunny, the Blunts and Palace don't take advantage.

Match preview for this game now up on Viva Rovers.

Given that Phil Brown is clearly talking to no-one via his headset is there a chance he is actually a robot controlled by Bluetooth? They never get these droids to look quite human do they, hence the overly orange skin tone.

Oh and 1-1.

Well, tbh, I will not be watching the text printer or checking the scores along the way for the score.  Too, too nerve racking, I tell thee!  So maybe will sneak a peek on here later !!

That said, best wishes to the lads and fingers firmly crossed until they hurt, or at least stick like that.  Sorry, jet lag does funny things to one.

I hope this one will be a win, score 1 or 2 while Preston get nowt.

Gary can keep a clean sheet and Copps can play like he did on Saturday.

Chances chances - just glad commentators not getting excited about their chances, makes it seem relatively harmless. Come on Moussa, your day for a goal son

That went quick, get a good feel, likely to be goals, and think we can get at least a draw.

Bit quiet here... I'll just amuse myself and go for the 100 posts tonight

I guess those who can have gone to the match BRR. Just us plebs left. Stuff the draw, three points tonight. Copps and Hayter to score in the second half.

At the risk of putting the mockers on things big stylee, Preston are even more baba than us in the 2nd half.

They're worst from drawing at half time, and against bottom half teams, worst when they score first, and waaay worst when opponents score first. So looking good even if they score first. Top optimism :side:

I'm looking for a 2 goal lead with 5 mins to go.  That way, we can be sure of the draw :chair:

Barmby. I've followed the Rovers for 38 years. I'd have to be either an optimist or a masochist, and I have never seen the attraction of sticking drawing pins in my genitalia.

Where are you BST? Dint have you down as non-dom somehow.

I'm bloody nervous here.  Can't bear the thought of going down.
