Sounds more like \"get off scot free!\" I suppose they'll cop a fine, but the Premier League money will pay that several times over.

Yes, the relegation thing was more wishful thinking.  Don't like QPR.

which is just more proof that the FA/FL/whoever is supposed to be running the show is an absolute laughing stock with no b*llocks to punish teams for breaking the rules unless the punishment doesn't actually make a difference to anything. arseholes.

When are the football league and the FA going to grow some b*llocks.

I dont mind QPR but would feel the same if anyother team had done what they had done.  Luton, Plymouth, Leeds etc etc get punished for severe discretions but because QPR are champions the league/fa copped out of doing the right thing.

How much would a fine hurt a club like QPR??? Feck all

I think that a points deduction now would be too chaotic given the legal challenges that would follow. Therefore a simple $10mill fine should suffice, with $1mill off each years parachute.

Disagree.  Just because the FA fecked up leaving it so long doesnt mean they couldnt go ahead with the appropriate sanctions.

The fine will be a drop in the ocean.

It depends how much the fine is. I can´t see why they´ve ruled out a points deduction at the start of next season.

If it had been Leeds I guarantee they would have been deducted points.

£875,000 fine in total.

http://www.thefa.com/TheFA/Disciplinary/NewsAndFeatures/2011/queens-park-rangers-sanction-result

Guilty of breaking:

Rule E3 - A Participant shall at all times act in the best interests of the game and shall not act in any manner which is improper or brings the game into disrepute - 800k fine

Rule A1 - A Player or Club must not at any time use the services of, or seek to use the services of, pay, or seek to pay, either directly or indirectly, an Unauthorised Agent in relation to any Agency Activity - 75k fine

I understand the relatively modest 75k fine may be down to QPR only \"attempting\" to use an unauthorised agent rather than actually using one.

It really doesn't depend how much the fine is, QPR have some of the richest men in the world associated with them, any fine will be small change to them, the only thing that would have realistically punished them is a points reduction.
