technically not true, as if we had lost every game since then, our goal difference would be worse than preston, we were actually safe after the 1-1 draw with coventry on the 8th.

I say it with 100% tongue in cheek but given a couple of performances since then maybe some of the players have a crystal ball and knew it at the time

actually, thinking about it, we played preston since then, so actually we would have gone down by 3 points, so technically, we weren't safe until we drew with preston, putting us on 45.

haha, sorry cussy, you should know what this place is like though, if you don't get the facts right, somebody will come along and brutalise you, thought i'd be nice about it

anyway, we were safe for 5 games, of which we managed 3 draws and 2 losses :D
