Is Heffernan worth a punt?Statistically, he is f**king ace.
QPR bid a million for him earlier in the season. My mate who is a Sheffield Wednesday fan tells me he's a confidence player and that his confidence is gone. Apparently both Spurr and Beevers would benefit from a change of scene and don't appear to be in Megson's plans. One thing I think we have to appreciate is that we cannot sign the finished article as we can't afford it. When we brought in Shackell he had not had the greatest time, Wolves fans were not overly complimentary. Not saying Spurr is the answer but I wouldn't rule him out based purely on the opinion of the Sheffield Wednesday fans, no matter how valid they are to his current perceived ability.
Sharp is a prime example of a player who had lost his way. Sean worked his magic and now he's in demand. Spurr and Beevers both strike me as Sean type players who could benefit from working under his tuition.

All these players names are brought into threads on here and people say 'no chance' or 'past it' etc...Surely if SOD has taught us anything it is that he can get the best out of some players. Also, how one player players with one team would be totally different to how he would play if he played in the hoops. As DVR says, Sharp is a prime example!
