Hi guys,
OK, we've seen all the threads and we will talk this thru' with the club. The obvious route - via Billy's thoughts - is to donate to the Childrens' Hospice.

If you wish, you can go direct....Just text the word Martin to 70099. Please note you get charged £2 but at least £1.76 goes to the hospice.

We realise that quite a few folk dont like mobile phone donations, so the VSC have the 'Make a donation to the VSC'
Just scroll down to the bottom of the forum page and look at the 'Information Box' The donation link is the 5th item down.
We will collect for the hospice from 13.00 today and keep you posted as to how much we are collecting. Thanks for your generosity....we know you will be donating big time !

All our best wishes are with Billy and Jade at this sad time....

Its the least we can do.
We are talking to the club - lets see what develops, but the hospice is such an appropriate way for all of us to 'give'....

Lets get the funds collected and then check all the bases. I've asked Rovers for their input - they will get back to me ASAP, but obviously its not high urgency given Billy has nominated the hospice. Rest assured we are on the case !

I don't want to sound ghoulish, but does anyone know why it happened ? Maybe a donation to some form of research into the cause (you know like Cancer Research) might be appropriate ?

Thanks to all who have made donations.....Martin has a Billy signed framed photo, so we might put that into the fund raising....
Meantime, we 've got over £150 in the kitty.

I have just put this photo up on e-bay. It was donated to the VSC to raise funds but I can't think of a better use than this.

Done - Love to Billy and Jade. Puts everything in perspective for me and last night has had a big effect on me. From another Dad and I know it doesn't help, but well done Billy. You should be a very proud Dad, take care of yourself and Jade.
