As a \"local\" I can't really offer much assistance as I'll be going via the train. There is street parking near the ground, but it isn't a very salubrious area. (In fact, it makes Stainforth look positively posh!)

This might help:

I thought Stainy was posh!
I never had any problems last time there. I found free back street parking within easy walking distance of the ground.

Keyser. I managed to turn off the A45 on the ring road onto the B4128 Macdonalds is just on the right then turn in immediately on the right to a cul-de-sac called Mount Pleasant (google earth it)there is a area there to park, when we came out of the game the police closed the road off just above that cul-de-sac and we drove through the access road into Macdonalds car park and got straight on to the dual carriageway and a short distance onto the motorway whilst the other motorists were stranded.
I asked a resident from the cul-de-sac if it was o.k to park there, he said in a scottish accent \" it depends on the answer to my question, Celtic or Rangers?\"
I replied Celtic and he said it's o.k to park there mate.
