Every year for the last eight or so hundred years for two weeks on Kings lynn tuesday market the Mart has come to town, it has evolved over the years to a big funfair. One day each year is given over to childrens day, the rides are all half price, so as you can imagine it is always packed.

Sadly last night a little boy of three was run down and killed by a passing car as the council in their wisdom didn't shut the roads around the market place off.
This petiion is a  demand for a change next year, as other events such as the festival in the summer do involve the shutting of the roads.

Done it Debs, theres no reason why roads couldn't be closed for this sort of big event.

You go to QPR and they close roads for a football match as its in a housing estate

Bless you, thanks love.. Stupid thing is , usually the road is closed off for the mart, god alone knows what happened this year. After all, it's not as if the council didn't know it was coming.
