Deciding who best player is, is very much down to personal opinion. On paper, Diouf is the best player to come to Rovers.

But it's what you classify as best player isn't it? I mean do you class being twice african player of the year as best player? Or someone who won the fans?

Personally for me, It's McIndoe.

I mean Neville Southall was widely regarded as the best goalkeeper in the world in the mid-80s so on that basis he'd be the best player to play for Rovers in 25 years.

Even with Southall as my boyhood footballing hero I concede that this wasn't the case.

With regards to the Pele thing i  concede he made goofs and gaffes and possibly erred away from fact.

 IF NS had been at DRFC in his prime then he probably would be one of best players ever to play for DRFC. EHD is just about still in his prime, and certainly can be regarded as best ever.

Better than Alick Jeffrey? Maybe someone who was lucky enough to see him play can decide that one.

I can't comment on alick Jeffrey  et al because I have never seen them play. But over the last 25 years he is the best player to play for us by a long way.

Whatever your opinions are re EHD he has only played a handful of games for the club.  As all the other players you are mentioning played far more than that and over time became real fans favourites, I think this vote should be re-visited in the future.
