Baxendale and Radford

Anyone just seen the DRFC tweet?

James Baxendale and Oscar Radford could both have a future at Rovers. Unless they get a better offer elsewhere.

I thought on the release list, Giles Barnes and Radford were at the bottom as free to find a new club?

Definitely think Baxendale has a lot of potential and for me would be a must, unsure over Radford as only ever seen him play against Armthorpe Welfare last preseason, but surely neither will be demanding high wages!

High wages, no. These guys get paid hundreds a week, nowhere near a thousand.

We're definitely going to have a smaller squad this season,so it does make sense that he signs some of the younger players back on,so he's got cover and on a low wage!!

I Well remember that quote Colin c,the only disappointment was he didn't get any punishment for his comments, not like Rodney Marsh, remember him getting his pride and joy cut off when Bradford stayed up in the Premier,a real classic that !!

So the bench will be full of Youth Team players? The way we are going we won't have enough of a 1st team squad to have 7 on the bench
