Mustapha Dumbuya
« on June 06, 2012, 05:55:30 pm by newyankee »

Just noticed on the official site that Mustapha Dumbuya has been selected to play for Sierra Leone.  Not surprising in itself, except that he was let go at the end of the season.

As such he is not a Rovers player, unless he has re-signed and the news has not yet been released.  Anyone know anything?

He's one that Saunders was in talks with (aswell as Hird and Gillet i think)... Don't be shocked to see him in a palace shirt next season once Nathaniel Clyne has left for greater things.

He's a player i'd love to see the club keep, there's a hell of a lot of potential in Dumbuya,he's one of them players we could regret letting go,because he is one of the better Attacking full-backs i've seen around!!

But conversely one of the worst defending full-backs!

I don't think we'd miss him at all.

Develop young players. Isn't that why your all praising sod. Dumbuya has masses of potential, we'd have a great player in a couple of seasons,

We've been saying that for 2 years aswell, I'm sorry but as fast as he is, his defending hasn't improved in all the time he has been here so unless he is to be employed further up the pitch I don't see what he brings to the team.

He's still young. Saunders may see him further up the pitch, who knows? Players like him were no good for a relegation battle but come next season I think he may flourish.

He is closer to 30 than he is to 20.

Well that's pretty obvious  anyone 21 or older are closer to 30 than they are 20.
