Not sure how true it is, only heard one rumour about it, but certainly sounds interesting... :ermm:

Wouldn't do us any harm, aslong as we dont fully rely on them and we don't end up with their youngsters here just for the sake of it.

I hope to god this stays as a rumour, I'd rather have Leeds scum as a parent club.

What and have the likes of Billy Paynter and Paul Connolly loaned to us?

Dont be silly!

I'd love it if we linked up with Everton. We have some cracking youngsters coming through, like we always do!

I think there is a limit on domestic loans which would prevent this becoming as farcical as last season's agreement.

I'd rather be the feeder club to the Syrian Government X1 than Man Utd's bitch

no thanks

I'd happily be City's bitch though

If you're going to be a feeder club, i'd have thought Man U or Arsenal would be the best parent clubs. I don't mind Man U, just for the fact Leeds fans hate them so much.

 :saywhat:

Got to admit they don't come much bigger for a parent club do they. so can only be a good thing if it's true.

Although have always had a soft spot for liverpool so would have prefered them but beggars can't be choosers!

I hate Man U as much as anyone but if it gets us some good players I'll swallow my pride and say go for it!

Plus it always works well for me on Footy Manager  :chair:

Is this more than just a silly-season rumour? I have a feeling that feeder clubs are not allowed under FA rules, at least not at our level.

If it was an arrangement that a club (say Man United) would send us some young hopefuls on season-long loans then it could be of benefit to both parties. However, I don't care much for the idea of another club being able to dictate what we can or can't do.

I believe a similar arrangement was made between Liverpool and Crewe some years ago. It was that good I cannot think of either team benefiting from it.

doesn't count for youth loans

I think they're allowed, just uncommon, since the Championship is very strong as it is

Interesting that Walsall are another of United's feeder clubs. How many loan signings did Walsall make from United?

Yes they are linked up with Royal Antwerp,a lot of the better young players have had a stint out their,as long as it isn't something where Dean has to play them no matter what,it would be a fantastic link up,can't see it being true, hope it is though :scarf:
