Depends what the back looks like. If it's got a huge white square waiting to be filled with a number, forget it.

Not the best pic but I like it. The red bands under the arms/down the sides remind me of the first "Streetwise" kit.

Is it just me or is there so little difference now, season on season, that unless there is a new sponsor or a significant rethink then unless you are a fashion slave its so minimal, its hardly worth buying unless your old one is jaded and you need a replacement. Shame we can't buy retro i would love the white with two red hoops around 75/6 AKA Spurs league Cup. My grandma knitted me one as a tank top (yes !) and sowed the club badge on in my first year at uni. Was i proud and we were languishing in a sea of mediocrity league wise, NO COMMENT!

It is a red panel on the back. Very similar to the shirt of 2 seasons ago, but a red back as opposed to white.

The shirt, which as always is predominantly red with white hoops on the front, has a significant change to the back of the shirt. A solid red section for the names and numbers replaces the white as on the previous shirt.

Shame really, I prefer hoops rather than a solid block of colour. I probably won't get it as it's pretty much the same as last season's.

I honestly believe clubs are taking the mickey out of fans changing the shirt every season now. The Rovers kit has hardly changed over the last three or four seasons. They keep trying to drum up season ticket sales, maybe they should give a free shirt to all season ticket holders if they are going to continue to change it yearly (and I am not a season ticket holder.)

I personally don't see a problem with it anyway, to me it's part of building the excitement to starting a new season even if I don't buy one. And you don't have to buy one.

It's not. I've bought one, and the one you buy has a red panel, like the one the players will wear.

I don't think it'd be called a 'replica' shirt if they made the design noticably different to the real thing.

It's typical football club style of today

not giving a crap about the fans with rip off priced footy shirts

they should charge £25 for the new home shirts if you have bought one in the last 2 seasons or something cos lets be honest rovers need us fans as opposed to us needing them

It's the exact same template as the 2010/11 kit, it just has a red back rather than white.

It's not Nike, Its Just Sports - they run the club shop.  This is something the VSC has taken to the club and asked why we change the kits every season, and the answer was that its in their contract they can change them if they want.  Clearly, they want to.  I remember the days when shirts were fixed for 2 years, and you changed your home and away shirt alternately.  You'd get the new home shirt one year, then the new away shirt the next year.  Admittedly, the club had 1492 regular fans then, but hey ho.
