It just shows how much short changed we were with Billy, Rhodes is unproven at that level

Only about 4.5m I think is upfront. The rest is heavily dependant on Blackburn getting in to Premier League and Rhodes playing lots of games etc.

Let us not forget the fairly average stint of Jon Stead at Blackburn when he moved from Huddersfield.

It wasn't him who let Rhodes go but speaking of Paul Jewell and daft transfer fees, he's just thrown £2.5million at Peterborough for Paul Taylor. What a total plum.
