Shit draw.  Very difficult to progress, little chance of good gate receipts, no chance of TV with Leeds v Everton also being drawn.

You beat me to it! We'll just have to go and win it to get a decent tie in the next round! RTID

TV games for a guess Man Utd v Newcastle and Crawley V Swansea

As soon as Norwich came out I just knew it'd be us next. Rotten place to get to on a Saturday dinner time never mind trying to get there on a Tuesday afternoon.

Norwich in 80's match.
Did we go 1-0 up, I certainly remember the half time PA man trying to cajole some noise from the home fans as there were thousands of us there and making a right racket.

I don't think it was Warboys. Remember us going one up and them equalising almost straight away. Not sure but Richard Dawson or Hugh Dowd came into my head.

Was that the game when we could not see the pitch due to the poxy Stadium and its segregation fence

I think you'll find it was a deflected 30 yarder by Richard Dawson..........

Poor draw. It's neither a money spinner, home draw or a great chance of progression (although I had written us off at 7.55pm on Tuesday night.)

That was the first time we had been in the 4th round for many years. Remember clearing the snow covered pitch and terraces at Belle Vue to get the third round tie with Cambridge on. Me and two of my mates were the main picture on the back page of the Doncaster Evening newspaper that night. Took all day to clear, with that much snow.
