That was the first time we had been in the 4th round for many years. Remember clearing the snow covered pitch and terraces at Belle Vue to get the third round tie with Cambridge on. Me and two of my mates were the main picture on the back page of the Doncaster Evening newspaper that night. Took all day to clear, with that much snow.

Exactly.

I did the trip when we got pummelled a couple of seasons ago and they kindly gave us an og late on !

I did in the 80`s when we played them in the FA cup, lost 2-1 I think, If I remember right Warboys scored
im sure it was Glyn Snodin

I seem to remember, we were right next to the Norwich fans behind a goal, separated by a caged fence and a line of Police, I remember a Rovers fan climbing into to roof of the stand above the Norwich fans and setting fire to one of those acrylic scarves over the Norwich fans and to flames dripping into them, I don`t think it lasted long though

Love the Naaritch fans attitude, we've heard it all before.  Let's go there and f**k em up.

Ah well. Not the tie that we hoped for. Did we use up all our luck in the season we got Citeh, Villa and Arsenal in the same season?

Anyway, when they got promoted to the Prem we did the double over them. Which prolific goal machine scored for Rovers at Carrow Road?

Of course it's winnable. Since Lambert left they have had their soul ripped out of them. We've only got some Leeds has beens and an ex Rover to come up against. No sweat !

Was it rubble and darts at Hull in a similar pen behind the goal in another 80's cup match.

Didnt do double it was 4 points. Copps hat trick in 3-1 home win.
Away game was just after the 1-6 at home to Ipswich and they were expecting 10..

It was 1-1, though Rovers goal was credited to Drury og, headed Oster's corner in.

Only a few years ago, this draw would have really excited a few people. Have some on this forum grown too big for their boots and if we don't draw anyone other than a Man United or an Arsenal, it's no longer good enough.

I'd have rather we drawn them at home, but it's still a winnable enough tie for sure.

After Ten mins on tuesday I'm just pleased to be in the next round. But as soon as we were drawn out of the hat against Norwich my first thought was YES DOABLE.
