So we play and lose against the team that ALWAYS do us over, with massive disruption with the Copps dealing going on on the way down to the game, and he's clueless?

f**k me, I give up with some of our support.

Let's not make Copps leaving the excuse he not started a league game and would probably not started today if still with us. We have two weeks now for Dean to work with the squad and be ready for two hard away games. We flattered to deceive in the first two games it not going to be easy.

I'm not making him leaving the excuse, more the disruption of the way it happened. The way he was pulled off the coach 3/4 of the way down for the game, relatively out of the blue.

I'd disagree there, Copps played well Tuesday and would to my mind have been in the first XI.
That aside, we won easily at Walsall, playing the game in second gear from 2-0 up, against Bury we created enough chances to have won by 5 or 6.
No excuses, by the sounds of it we played poorly throughout the game, and comparison to Crawley game used more than once.
Inconsistency, but this side should be better than they've shown in last two league games.

A further two away games coming up. I don't fancy us beating Sheff Utd, so getting a win against Colchester is crucial.

Jones never went up front.

According to commentary he did.
And that was also mentioned by Yeovil commentary who said that him going upfront caused the disruption in defensive organisation leading to second goal.

Though if you were there you are better placed to judge than me.

Saunders did the right thing pushing Jones up but we got caught out goin for it.

I thought we were on top first half and had control but we didn't do enough with the final ball. Second half we didn't get close enough and looked jaded I thought.

I think we need to take the game to teams a bit more if we do that we'll cause nmore problems, at two oil we finally started to do something. Disappointing though but the side will take time to come together.

Somewhere lies the truth about Jones?
2 x commentaries + BFYP say he went upfront, Dickos says not.

I'm with BFYP (not literally), when Husband came on, Jones went up front. How that reorganisation affects McCombe not being able to head a ball is unclear to me?

I'd rather we went for it to get something out of the game than settle for a 1-0 defeat,  even it it risks conceding a 2nd goal.

My point being there was at least 25 minutes left when this switch was made. Jones is a centre half for a reason. Forwards or attacking players occupy that position for a reason, reason being their particular skills/aptitude etc.
With 10 minutes left by all means throw the kitchen sink at it but with so long left in the game and only 0-1, smacks of a lack of ideas or not having the confidence in the attacking players already selected.

Whats all this 25 minutes rubbish. Jones went up front when the clock said 82 minutes unless my eyes deceived me.

I think that says more about our typical "style" than it does about anything else.
