With a game in hand as well. Couldn't have asked for a much better start to the season, all things considered.

This has happened several times this season with the BBC/PA league tables.

What they have done is incorrectly counted today's match twice.

As we keep on seeing, the PA statistics for the lower leagues are barely on nodding terms with reality.

And the fact that 5 of our 8 games have been away. I think we're in a really good position right now.

After today's teleprinter constipation the current tables have all today's results counted twice  :crying:

Edit : Too late - beaten by BST

Ignoring the PA clusterf**k and looking at the real tables, things really are looking very rosy. We've had just about the hardest start you could realistically expect. Totally re-worked squad. Several important players miles short of fitness for the first 2 months. 5 of the first 8 games away. 6 of the first 8 against sides in the top dozen or so. And we're picking up results at a rate that would see us get 81 points over a season.

Far, far better than I'd even dared to hope.

We lost to Crawley at home. Real low point this season.
