I'd say it's far too soon but the way Dean's been carrying on he'll probably be the oldest guy in the side!

Very interesting, maybe Deano thinks the responsibility will add something to his game. Then again, who else is there to realistically give it to? Brown?

Think it might be too soon, but who else is there and it will give him good experience. It's only a cup game at end of day, so it's not end of the world if it all goes wrong

me personely i would not give it him i would let him consentrate on his own game maybe give it a more experienced guy but i not seen lineup

Ian Snodin was made captain at same age. Made him, rather than broke him.

Cotts doesn't strike me as a leader and Griffin only just signed. Is it confirmed that Husband is captain, I haven't heard owt on the radio.

Dean knows the lad, we don't. Any speculation about whether we would or wouldn't give him the armband is pointless without that knowledge.
