I found it funny Rob, but didn't know any other way to reply.  Not knowing Filo's age I didn't know if HE had used dubbin or just heard of it, unfortunately I am in the age where it was common practice to use dubbin. We also had leather toe caps and leather balls ( if you'll pardon the expression

I Used dubbin on my boots,quite a few years since i played like,what i found was it looked after your boots,but could sometimes rot the laces,i had a few laces snap with it.
Anyway onto the main point,how encouraging was that,playing so many of our kids from the start,and held a very decent league one side,i'd love us in the future to have a similar reputation to Crewe,in bringing young players through,talking of Meade,did anybody see the Arsenal game,i thought there young left back Meade had a good debut,it won't be long till he's a first team regular.
