I don't think it's bad really. Thursday is the busy day at the ticket office when they are open late. Plenty will pay on the day as well I think. The club should be pushing it more though.

650 sold to date now that is sh-t for joint top and a close fixture

What planet are you on?

650 with almost a week to the match is pretty good IMHO.  There's going to be quite a few folks turn up on the day I reckon, as well as those who buy during this week.

I was going to go but my other half has had her hours cut back so I'm probably going to miss out.  I am sure I'm not the only one who would love to go but can't for whatever reason.

Those who can manage to get to the game, go enjoy, and proudly support the team, but please don't say the attendance is "sh-t"...

How exactly, unless they have a special offer to promote?  Anyone who is interested in DRFC can easily find out when the fixtures are, and how to buy tickets.

For the club to promote itself in general, now that is a different matter, but for one away game???

I couldn't agree more, fussing about attendances is totally irrelevant ........it's the win that matters. I can't go either at the moment either :(

I don't really just mean this game, I mean every game and the club in general. Everywhere you turn the club should be banging the drum, I know things have improved slightly but there is no better time to try and raise profile than wen you are top of the league.

I've been to over 70 different football grounds in the UK, and Gigg Lane wasn't one of them, so I was hoping to go.  Hopefully it will be at least one full season before I can go again!

True they look like relegation fodder to me too.  ;)

I was more thinking it would be 2013/14 before they could possibly get promoted ;)

I might be able to go on Saturday after all.  I guess I can buy a ticket on the phone at our TO and collect from Bury. I have done that several times for away games.

swan & cemetary pub for anyone not going via train. its on manchester road that runs along side the ground, its 10 minutes walk. no beer will be sold at the ground so this looks like a good option. hope to see it packed like the pub at oldham old grey mare.

worrying thing for me is that we have sold 600 plus match  tickets but we have 10 full coaches which is about 490, normally its a 3-1 ratio for tickets sold for people travelling on the coaches, so do i need to order more coaches, no wonder im going grey....... :scarf: :scarf:

I think we'll sell this out now.  See we have a full allocation of 1050 according to the facebook page.  779 sold.  So 271 tickets left.

These will be gone by Friday!!

Will we get any extra space in the ground if demand is high on the day?

Have a feeling you need more coaches Paul, possibly a further 5 or so. :)

Fingers crossed the local constabulary don't panic and make us park buses up for an hour.

A full allocation of 1050? Keepmoat site says initial allocation of 1000. One of the two must be incorrect.

The away stand holds twice that. They will give us the other half if we sell the first allocation.

Anyone planning on just paying on the day? Would imagine the 1050 will be gone by tomorrow dinner time.

Does it say East or West stand on the ticket do you know?

If its West (ManchesterRoad End) holds around 2k
If its East (cemetry end) you will have about 2.5k

How is Kyle Bennett getting on these days?
