Where on DROS? I can't find it? Folks on the forum have implied you can pay on the day. I suggest ringing the Bury ticket office.

With a capacity of 2K and getting on for the 1000 allocated almost selling out, I reckon there'll be 13-1400 there. Pretty damned good IMHO.

For future references however this is LEAGUE ONE. Every club has to provide a pay on the day facility unless we have sold out our allocation or the police have advised otherwise. So they will only announce when pay on the day is NOT available. It is safe to assume otherwise normally.

Good point. The pay on the day question seems to arise for every away fixture!

I think there has only ever been Swansea (and West Ham) in the last 5 years where pay on the day wasn't available despite not selling out our allocation. I think with West Ham fans could pay on the day but there was a major doubt beforehand. In the Championship it is unsure but I don't think there has been a fixture in League One where pay on the day wasn't available without a good reason.

At the risk of posting something appearing to be negative Lee, I would think nearer 1400. Whatever an excelleny turnout and it should be given our position.

Someone posted it on another thread. 1030 I think, however it was very early on in the season. Our away attendances doubled in the second half of that season.

I'm looking forward to this one - Bury seem to be making wholesale changes to the squad so it could work for them or hopefully against them.

I don't know that squad still looks effective to me , somehow this still has 'bananaskin' potential.

Talking to Tacey, she asked me to ask you all to PLEASE GET AWAY TICKETS FROM THE OFFICE INSTEAD OF 'pay on the day' as rovers make money for selling the tickets, otherwise the club make nothing from an away games but we do get commition from away tickets

That's all well and good but that initial allocation wasn't enough. There are many who will now be paying on the gate thus 'lost' revenue.

but if people dont leave it till the last minuet we could get more to sell its the same at home they leave it till the day then complain that they miss the first 10/15 mins it is always the last moment with rovers fans

I know it's a problem and doesn't help when some of those that make the point that they always do it are VSC officials

Well i said to humey we should be taking 1500-2000 and his reply what to bury and then said that would be superb and a big lift for the players to see that amount of support

Its not the getting there, mate, and thanks for the offer. I arranged for some tradesmen to come to the new house a few weeks ago for some work we need doing desperately, and now compounded that with a new carpet being fitted. Never realised how much I'd desperately want to go to a sh!t'ole like Bury! LOL

I suppose I could maybe get off at 2pm and break the land speed record......
