Think it is the lads first time although he doesn't sound overly confident. How do people get involved with helping out on RP?

Is it me or do the Deedar commentators seem a bit patronising?

They never turn down the chance to refer to any kind of link to United either.

Jones' ruled out.

Well we`ve rattled the bar and post in the first 15 minutes!

And as I type a disallowed goal!

Me and Danny are students. He has a placement at SineFM and I help out Steve and Maz to get some experience and usually do the commentary with them. It's Danny's first lead commentary and I think we're getting better over time. Unfortunately I can't be there tonight or I'd be on commentary as well.

Ahh I see! Just interested that's all, as I am a Journalism graduate myself looking to get involved in sports reporting in Doncaster! The chance to work on Rovers Player is a good opportunity for you lads!

I'm loving it to be honest, I'm not the best at it at the minute but a few more weeks at it I'm sure I'll improve. Unfortunately uni made it difficult to get down tonight
