2-1

Hartlepool to soak up a lot of pressure, but look dangerous on the break.

Hume and Jones to score.

I'm going for a 3-0 or 3-1. If we play anything like Tuesday and have a bit more joy in front of goal it should be quite comfortable although I expect them to test our back four. If we can ride out their enthusiasm on the back of their good form and give young Mr Lundstram a platform to play from, it should be good.

I hope to see Husband carry on his good form an link up play along with Cotterill coming inside and getting more involved as he did on Tuesday.

Copps, Cotterill, Syers, Lundstram were interchanging that much that the commentators kept wrongly indentifying them. At times in the second half it looked like a team playing the SO'D way. Well it was more pleasing on the eye anyway.

I'll go for a hard fought 2 0 win.
The 2nd goal being a late one. :scarf:
I can see us having one game before the end of the season where everything goes right and we tonk someone.
Don't ask which game though.  ;)

2-1 rovers but a tough game these have only lost once in nines games and that was to Bournemouth so it's going to be hard.

I read these score prediction threads and always smile at the extent to which we let our enthusiasm run away with us.  I don't usually bother to pitch in but here goes...

With one or two exceptions this season we haven't battered anyone, either by scoreline or by football so why would anyone be expecting us to batter what is the division's current form team?
League position is totally irrelevant.  Current form is the only meaningful indicator so, letting my giddy self get carried away just for a minute I'll predict a 2-2 draw, and with odds around 3 to 1 on the Bet.Butler link, the draw has got to be worth a punt.

Since every team that has gone top has buckled and thrown away their next game I'm trying not to get too carried away - remember Rovers do not do things the easy way!! A dour 1-1 draw, with both teams effectively cancelling each other out is my prediction  :headbang:

but I hope I get it badly wrong and we spank them 4-0!  :clapping:

We have a problem with consistancy. Two good games, one bad.  So after Yeovil and Shrewsbury I think we will slip up and lose by a goal to nil.  Hope I'm wrong. :rtid:

They're in good form but we've got to be winning these games. If we want promotion we have to be good enough to keep up these runs and also not to fear other teams who are in good form. 2-0 to Rovers. Yeovil were in much better form, are a better side than Hartlepool, and are our bogey team and we only failed to beat them comfortably because of some poor finishing and a goalkeeping howler. We're a good side, and as blips go ours has been pretty tame - 2 defeats? - we're hardly in freefall. Let them worry about us, I say.

Ok 16:9 then.
I dunno, I'm seeing something like that Scunny game a few years ago, where we appeared to be playing great attacking footie, but kept letting them sneak in.
 Changed my mind, 4: 2

37-2

PS A symbolic prize for the first person to work out why it's 37 rather than 34 or 44 or 53 and so on. :)

Easy

We've only won matches when our points score divided by 7, rounded down to the next integer and minus one equals a prime number.

Nah

It's obviously a Wiltshire variant of reverse Polish arithmetic notation - the 3 before the 7 means negative, put it behind the negative makes it a double negative or positive; so it is 7 - 2 + 3 = 7-5. That's a score we have history with ........ or am I Reading between the lines?
