Wonder if Scunthorpe will have a cover on the pitch.

I have just seen a spider burst open, and hundreds of little spiders ran from inside it!

Looking out of the fifth floor office window overlooking the Brayford in Lincoln approximately 30 miles south of Scunthorpe I currently see clouds and general overcast conditions. I'm just about to venture out for a lunch time walk so will report back on the temperature and possible wind factor when I get back. The flags on the barge in the marina are blowing furiously in a south westerly direction.

Make of that what you will.

Shoule we be worried?

Manchester - CLEAR

Hyde - CLEAR

Blackburn - Light snow

There was me thinking that weather b*llocks only happened on Facebook these days...

Hoxton – just near Old Street Roundabout – East London
A chilly wind biting around the nads but completely clear.

I can report that the flags are mainly from European countries such as Spain, Portugal and France and that the water was indeed quite choppy due to the icy breeze blowing down the marina. Still no sign of snow in Lincoln however its still ruddy freezing out there. I can report that the Lincolnshire gritters are definitely on stand by tonight......but that could just be for the temperature plumetting. Anyhow, Scunny is in North Lincs so who knows. I did see a snowman and a penguin walking down the High Street in Lincoln, perhaps a sign of things to come?

The southern Peak District is snowy - as usual at this time of year. I got snowed in this morning. And it's snowing heavily again now.

If I were a betting man, I'd bet the game tomorrow is called off after seeing the forecast for Scunthorpe.

Starting to flurry in Hatfield now... don't think the wind is going to do us any favours personally!

Then the little spiders carried away the big burst-open spider.
What's happening?!

With all these postponements, I think it could open up the old winter break debate...
What's the betting we'll get one to play the 2018 World Cup?

Snow settling in Donny now.

It's really going to depend on what it does overnight.

My money is on snowmageddon.

Latest Scunny forecast:

http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/Scunthorpe-united-fc#?tab=fiveDay

Looks like some snow in the morning, but assuming the pitch is covered they may be able to get it cleared in time to play at 3pm.

Whilst we wait in anticipation for news of the first dusting of snow in Scunny, I thought you'd like to know there's no flurries of women out in slippers and shell suits between Tredegar and Bristol - not a good sign.

Just been for Fish & Chips at Whitbys at the old Firestation. Very nice.

Shocking weather conditions driving home, all the roads are snowy, no sign of any gritters.

Snowmageddon!

I've had to knock the snow off the sky dish twice tonight....

Would be amazed if it is on tomorrow.
