I'm in Epworth. It's not settling. Looks fine so far.
Forcast to hit heavy from about 2am I think, and stay in the area until about 1pm
Friend in Epworth says light snow starting to settle now
Working all day at Winterton, Scunthorpe and left approx 7:00 p.m tonight . There hasn't been any snow/rain or sign of snow/rain all day but it was bitterly cold and I mean BITTER all day with heavy winds.Unless there are heavy falls tonight or a very deep frost then I can see no reason to call this game off.

I dont think that is a valid reason tbh Dave, if the pitch, the stadium and the paths/roads and closest possible access routes are fine it will go ahead. My fear is the snow comes later than planned and the game is aboneded as Rovers lead 3-0...

I live in Thorne have travelled this route tonight and yes it's very windy but 'unlikely' definitely NOT at this stage. Your comments puzzle me and your reasoning........is Donny-Scunthorpe deep with snow that I didn't spot ?
I've had to knock the snow off the sky dish twice tonight...
