Now consider this one: On Friday, if the match goes ahead, the team with the best away form in the division (us) is playing away at the team with the 16th best home form (Coventry). The odds are 8/5 for Cov & 19/10 for us. That means that our odds are 1.68 times those of Coventry. Coventry are clear favourites for the match.I suspect there'd be some money to be made from a careful, systematic approach to betting on us.
This weekend could be the banana skin we are all hoping against. Both these teams could turn us over and I fear it happening. Coventry 3 Rovers 1 and Rovers 1 Swindon 2
The problem I have is that our fantastic away record was pretty much down to another manager, maybe one of you stat guys out there could work out our percentages under Flynn but I'm pretty sure that they've slumped somewhat.
