What do we all think of them then?

I like them both, especially the away one

Does anyone know when there likely to be released?

I like the image of the away shirt, am hoping it doesn't disappoint in the flesh.

I like them a lot. It's unique to us and i'm already saving the pennies to buy one. A Crystal Palace Fan friend of mine said Avec did a really good job of their kits this season, in fact the home kits are their highest selling kit. Lets hope this applies to Rovers as well! Can't wait for next season to start already!  :rtid:

However in the meantime I've treated myself to one of these: http://www.rovers-clubshop.co.uk/product/ss-3rd-jsy-12-13-adult-13233   :rtid:

Love them.  My away choice was African violet but the blue was second choice so well happy.  Will look well classy in the Championship!

I couldn't resist. I've bought 'Champions 13' on the back as well. Think it's a fantastic Keep Sake.

Wonder who will be sponsoring the league next season. I've heard it's Domino's Pizza. So will we get a 'Golden League One Champions' Pizza Slice Arm Patch lol.

Hi,

When will the voting figures be released? Be interesting to know how close the away shirt vote was?

I remember doing a count of the votes on here (because i'm a little bit sad) when there was a thread of which we voted for.  I think the away shirt was pretty much a land slide victory for the blue & black shirt.  The home one was really close when I counted.  I'd be interested to see the figures for that

We didn't do the final vote, that was done by a facebook app on the Rovers official site. However you're pretty much correct because the Blue/Black hoop was a landslide victory (I was disappointed, I wanted green) and the home shirt was very close, as you would expect because they were all red/white hoops!

I'm pleased with the outcome.

It's flexible too. They could wear Red & White Shirt/White Shorts or Blue & Black Shirt/ Black Shorts, which is a useful option.

I like the home shirts better when they've got more white than red.

My only concern is, are the top two red stripes really going to be uneven in size? Or is that just how it looks on the mock-up?

the away shirt has the same pattern with a narrow stripe at the top

It was narrowed to accommodate the logo and the badge.

Will the voting figures be being released then SM as promised?

I think we were promised all the rounds of results weren't we?

I know. Was easier just to refer to one though.

It'd look better if the stripes were even IMO, but it's still pretty good overall.

DP,
I can check when Shaun's back in the office. I wasn't sure about what promises were made as I had little to do with the actual voting process, but I'll ask.

I'd prefer red but somebody, maybe John Ryan, seems to prefer the black which I personally do not like that much.

I've never liked black shorts and wish we'd return to red ones.  Not massively keen on the white sleeves on the new home shirt.

My question (for the umpteenth time ;) ) though - are we getting two seasons out of these new kits?  SM?

Sorry Rovers, if you want to continue the now annual fan fleecing kit change then I think it's unlikely I'll be buying shirts again. I used to spend a lot of money on them too (home,  home long sleeve and away).

Thanks for the reply though SM.

Its not really the club that insists on this though, its the shirt makers. My view, and certain members of staff at the club believe we would sell more shirts if we changed very other year rather than every year. They should do what the England national team do and update on alternate years, i.e. the home shirt one year and the away shirt the year after.
