Cheapest I can see is £31 ish going down (looks like there's probably some engineering works on as the trains are taking about 40-50 minutes longer than usual) then a tenner coming back just after 8pm. That's on East Coast.
I always use East Coast to book my tickets, generally the best price regardless of whether you are travelling on an East Coast trains or not. No booking fees and if you register you also earn points on your spend which gets you free East Coast travel (or at least if you spend lots of money with them).I'd be surprised if you will get really cheap travel now anyway, its bank holiday weekend, various things going on in London and they've been on sale a good few weeks.
