Seems to be an massive increase in the number of trolls on the board, and looking at the number of people who have signed up this month, it is a lot higher than previous months.

Should new members be vetted more thoroughly?

friendly banter never hurt anyone, although for the life of me i cant understand why being a troll would appeal to people.

As I'm sure the mods are aware, there are several posters whose periods of activity/inactivity suspiciously coincide.
I'm sure most regular visitors here could suggest half a dozen or so suspected "alternate personas".

As annoying as their attention seeking is, they are obviously sad, pathetic little people and as such deserve our pity.
