I think Ricky van Wolfwinkel will do well in the Premier. Saw him play for Utrecht three years ago and he played very well. Big, strong, clever tricks and very mobile.

Wild Rover.
I knew most of them but there's some I'd never heard of.

Brilliant. Just had me spitting coffee all over me laptop.

Danger Fourpence! I used to know a lass in Denaby who had a tuppence that were quite dangerous. I wonder if she's related?

According to my old Football Handbooks, there were a player in Brazil in the 70s whose name translated as Bobby The Big Volkswagen.

Yuri Zhirkov always looked an innocent name, but everyone pronounces it "Jerk Off".

As for Van Wolfswinkel, didn't he make one of the top 100 to watch list a few years ago as a rising star?

He is mint on football manager mind.

I spose Fatty Foulkes and Bert Trautmann might just sneak in the lower end of the list?

Absolutely cracking list Wild Rover. Where on Earth did you dig them all up? I liked Norman Conquest and Danger Fourpence too. Quim's pretty good while Creedance Clearwater Couto is just insane :)

Cheers
