But, but - we're not signing any more players... We're doomed!!! :crying:

Another player who has experience at this level. Great news.  :scarf:

That was my thinking also, but I didn't want to sound too optimistic.  ;)

Great stuff. I'm a lot more confident about our chances tomorrow with Richie involved.

He left us with no sour grapes.  Oldham and Blackpool fans were pulling faces like they had a full bag of Tangfastics poured down their gobs.

We now have a great, versatile midfield and good goalkeeper. Impressed with what Dickov has done in this regard.

Still worried about untested defense and goalscorer. But it seems Dickov is intent to play a passing game in the midfield area.

Non contract. Means rather party can part company at any time I think.

Long enough to hopefully become permanent when/if we eventually get investment?

Wellens pulling the strings behind Copps/Cotts/Duffy and brown ahead - sounds good to me :)

Don't care a great signing just get a striker with a bit of pace and we will be more than ok, use the loan system for injuries.

Still need cover for our defence, if one of them gets injured then we're struggling already

As far as I understand it's short term, not non-contract.

Tomlinson's on non-contract ;)

Forget any more signings our biggest problem is a board which is split. The leadership starts in the board room so get yourselves sorted because we all have to pull in the same(one) direction

I've seen nothing to suggest that other than hearsay and hearsay based on hearsay

Are you referring to the investment saga?  Perhaps there may be a disagreement, but that doesn't necessarily mean a split does it?

It's amazing. Lots of people saying jolly lovely things about a rather splendid signing, and then *BOOM!* someone has to piss all over it. We're an amazing bunch, aren't we?

From where i stand it must be a good sign,as for sure wellens will have more insight into the two so called investment deals.

Maybe he can see a light at end Of tunnel

Coincidence that his short term deal will probably run out when Marc de Val returns from injury...  :chair:

Great player!! Should give us a rock to build on in the middle of the park. I really rated him when he played for us last time round. He's one of those real workhorse players. He looks much fitter (in a purely footballing sence obviously) than he did last time aswell. Brilliant signing!!

COME ON YOU HOOOOOPS!!! :scarf:

I think it is a reasonable assumption to make when you have two factions in a board room wanting different things is a split otherwise there would speak of one voice would they not?

Factions is a bit extreme don't you think. They're hardly having a full on falling out.

To be honest, I can cope with negativity, but it's when stories are developed from untruths that I really hate it.

Look at Coventry, look at Portsmouth, look at Leeds and I'm sure the list can go on, I am proud to be a fan of Doncaster Rovers, yes the board make mistakes but do they care? too right they care, there aren't many clubs that have the integrity and decency that Doncaster Rovers has, it's time we started to wake up and realise that when we make up a rumour on a half truth it can snowball into something that becomes very damaging to our club.

We have a fantastic club who I am looking forward to watching play in the second tier of English football tomorrow.
