Federico Macheda loan watch articles
« on September 18, 2013, 05:53:19 pm by The Hole »
Hello all,

I am the creator of a Manchester United website called Stretford End Arising. URL: http://www.stretfordendarising.com/

The website runs a monthly feature that follows the progress of United's players on loan. Here is an example: http://www.stretfordendarising.com/youth/2012/10/31/octobers-loan-watch-2012-13-john-cofie-at-sheffield-united/

Following Macheda's loan move to Doncaster is a drfc-vsc.co.uk forum member interested in participating in the feature? Please PM me if you are interested.

A link to drfc-vsc.co.uk will be included in the published article.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Cheers,
Andrew

I think the problem is you can't receive PM's yet (probably cos you're a new member).

Ideally you want someone who goes to home and away games but if noone comes forward you can PM me and let me know what you require and I'll do my best.

Cheers.

Thank you, Viking Don. You are more than welcome to write the reports if no one comes forward.

Is anyone else interested?

Should get a few more volunteers after today, great touches from the lad, can tell he's real quality and I hope we can get him for the season. Two goals doesn't do him much harm either!

He had one or two wayward passes but all in all had a very good game, I'm very impressed we got him here and hoping we can keep him for the season, loved the way he flew into the box when we went on the attack.

He looks like he's got goals in him and a trick or two, looks a bit light weight or nesh, I can't make my mind up yet.
I liked the look of our front three yesterday, once they all gel they are going to be a real handful.

The front three all played well yesterday, where Feddy shone was that knack of being in the right place at the right time & obviously his finishing was very composed.

didnt go but i sounds like we have got good options up top with him in the squad.

Brown can hold the ball really well and knock it down fro players such as robinson who has the pace and a finisher in the likes of Macheda

promising, now the wide men such as copps and cotts need to up thier game.

I thought he was s**t. Couldn't pass, couldn't tackle, slower than Ponte Ricky with a flat tyre and two lucky goals, one was a mishit toe poke, the other hit him when he swung a leg wildly. He is no more a footballer than I am. But seeing as we are low on numbers and have gone to the trouble of printing a shirt with his name on it which we cant really afford, we are quite happy to take him of your hands and wage bill. Seeing as how you need a few new players if yesterday is owt to go by.

AND IF ANYBODY TELLS ANYONE AT MAN U ANYTHING DIFFERENT - YOU'RE A TRAITOR.

I thank you.

Having been the Keepmoat Saturday and Etihad Sunday I'd say they might be wanting him back if he gets himself fit and carries on from where he started on Saturday.

He might want to stay with a club going forward though rather than one on the obvious slippery slope! Fancy them for the Europa League next season though!

I hear he's looking for a move back to Italy in January, so expect to see Armani-clad scouts at the Keepmoat!

As for Man U, I couldn't believe how bad they were at the Etihad yesterday. I doubt even van Persie's inclusion would have made much difference. Fergie sure got out at the right time!

To say it was only his 2nd game and to say, we were also playing a new formation, I thought he did really well and a tad disappointed he came off.

In another 2 or 3 games, providing he continues the work rate, he'll do a lot of damage.

Agree DBR, he looked absolutely knackered before half time though so was little surprise he only lasted as long as he did. When he's properly fit he could really look something special.

I thought you were a happy clapper then  and my freedom of speach had be taken from under me after having a little dig at copps and cotts' work rate.

I agree, by his standards he was.
This is maybe why he's here. A bit more consistency would help, he looked out of sorts last night.

You say that but he had one chance all night (should have finished,  mind) .  We didn't really create enough for him. I thought we missed Robinson's pace which helps create space for Macheda.

He had two actually - the second being when he had it in I think the 6 yard box but elected to try and go to the by-line rather than hit it then when he did pass it was too late to do anything.
