Apparently they are having a board meeting today to discuss Wellens and macheda ! Ffs again another example of there being no direction at the club ! These matters were suppose to have been sorted ?

They are running the club like a village cricket team!

PD said in a recent interview that he wanted to keep both ( Wellens very much) but mentioned that Man U were recalling all their loanees for the month of January . Regarding the Board, he said he had met with GB and  TB twice and had the support he wanted to strengthen .

          My bet is that Wellens ' agent will receive alternative offers that will  have to be considered by all parties ., though they will perhaps not involve the village cricket team .

I don't doubt that they, but it's very easy to see how the journos manipulate things to suit their own purposes, less so the BBC journos, but it's still part of the M.O.

How the hell do you conclude that the club has been doing nowt up until now, and then go on to criticise the organisation and leadership?  You are jumping to conclusions without access to all the facts, and spreading disquiet on here.  For what reason?

I keep seeing people quoting this "2 people" and clearly they mean Dick and Terry. A lot of people seem to be mixing up "Major Shareholders" and "Board". I haven't seen the constitution of the DRFC Board, but, typically, there are far more people that make up a "Board" of an organisation. It is likely the Doncaster Rovers Board Meeting will include the major shareholders, the Chief Exec, other Directors (e.g. Director of Football, Director of Marketing, Director of Public Relations, HR, Finance etc), plus any non-Exec Directors.

And when they have people attending the Board meeting, e.g. as would be expected at the start of the January Transfer Window for the Manager to be invited, these meetings will take a little organising to sort out diaries. Remember, a number of our board have commitments outside DRFC, e.g. Terry's Foundation etc. He's not sat at home living and breathing nothing but Donny Rovers, unlike some one here!

Who ever is in the board meeting today lets hope they can all be singing off the same hymn sheet. They can ensure they are steering the ship in a forward direction.
To much misinformation as come out over the last 5/6 months from different sources, whether to put their point of view or score points on the other side.
The owners who are left, the major shareholders and others must try and ensure we are a club that is set up to have championship football next year.
From the playing side we must be strengthened. We cannot rely on injured players returning to improve the side. Those players may not be able to come back and give 100% every game.
So let's see what January brings.
