After McCormacks statement saying he was staying (because he's playing under McDermott), hes been sacked and after the live phonecall to sky it sounds like he has changed his mind. It'll be a long 3 hour for Scum fans...

I'd rather concentrate on my team. We've just taken 7 from 9, that makes me far happier than anything going off at Elland Rd.
Mind you I'll be at work in the morning 300 yards from Elland Rd so I'll have a bit of banter with the Leeds fans before coming over for our game.

Your post sums it up - of course we're only really bothered about our beloved Rovers, but isn't it a bit interesting to hear of Leeds being in such a mess?!

I'm loving it. They never deserved a manager as decent as Brian McDermott so I'm delighted for them and for him that he's been kicked out.

What a total joke of a club they are.

It does Hools if they're clearing the decks for new owners who want their own man in. Maybe part of the deal is the current owners get rid of McDermott? Who knows? The two things we do know are that there's a reason somewhere - and that there's a takeover in the wind. That gives plenty of room for this kind of thing.

To be fair, this is not something anyone concerned with football should welcome, even though it is Leeds!

Oh, come on! To be fair the majority of Leeds fans are decent people. We have our own nutters, it is true, but they are definitely in the minority. Same at all clubs.

That's what being in debt gets you. Current owners running out of money due to £1m a month losses, so the first person with some funds in a bank account gets brought in. Too familiar.

Some would have had our club being run by some dubious or at best mysterious characters apparently ''flashing the cash".

Just goes to show the system is a farce. Something very rotten at Leeds. How can they be in this much trouble again so soon after effectively having the slate wiped clean when they went into administration last time?

They have a decent fan base in terms of numbers... What is the issue?
