How's it going?
« on February 12, 2014, 09:56:25 pm by WhiteyBFC »
Only a couple of days before we turn up to your place in what looks a huge fixture now, especially for us. So I thought I'd pop across and get your thoughts on it.

So, after four home games without conceding, and with us only winning one game away all season, you must be feeling confident?

Who are likely to be involved for Rovers? Is Sharp definitely out? Any other key players missing?

Only Sharp out suspended.

We don't have any key players missing, all our players are key players. :rtid:

Is Wellens not a key player then?  :chair:

Yes, my point being that all our players are important.  One misses another comes in.  No Wellens so in comes Furman or Forrester or Cotterill or De Val.  Not short of good players. :rtid:

I'm surprised your caravans are still stationary in this weather.

But on a serious note, if this continues the game might not go ahead.

Wellens and Sharp are out. Our main play maker and our main goal scorer. Without them we play a more dogged type of game in midfield and ultimately will great less chances. The positive for us is that recently we have  conceded very few goals (after the signing of Meite and Tamas and return to fitness of husband and Khumalo) and always have the ability to surprise a team (ask QPR, Leicester and Wigan).

I would predict a very tight game. Either a 0 - 0 or 1 - 0 either way.

On the plus side, it must be nice for the dingles to visit a first world town, if only for a day. I continue to send my £2 a month to the help a dingle appeal but I fear they just spend it on alcohol and pigeons. But you do what you can to help out those in need.

Whitey I think it's a game we can't afford to lose and you can't afford not to win
I'm more concerned that we are missing Richie Wellens than Billy, our defence has dramatically improved over last month
To be honest I wouldn't mind if game was off but if it's on have a safe trip - don't wear ruby slippers just in case a caravan ends up on your head

We don't normally use up our full allocation when fielding a reserve side.

How many do you take to games outside Yorkshire? Strict Dingle policy of no travelling more than a 40 mile radius. Away attendances reflect this last time i looked Dingles were averaging 300 less than us per away game.

That's what happens when you're on a branch line. They need an overnight stop before they get to the land of Gordon and the Big Engines.

Makes me laugh how anyone living in Barnsley could mock Doncaster. What does Barnsley actually have going for it?

At least Doncaster actually has places worth visiting. I'll name but a few.
Racecourse
Markets
Yorkshire Wildlife Park
Many halls, castle etc
A decent array of shops.
