Swapping ends

Would swapping ends be beneficial both on and off the pitch?
Housing the home fans in the north stand would benefit because of the obvious better acoustics, and putting the away fans in the south would benefit segregation because of the tunnels in the corners.
The post-match traffic congestion could also be reduced by directing the away traffic to the motorway.
Thoughts?

Its something the club should look into. They would need another wall built in the east stand if they want to keep the current away end capacity.

I can't understand why that wasn't the home end anyway. I mean in effect it's the town end, with the South being near to the road to the motorway.

I imagine it would upset a lot of season ticket holders now though

Well, if you just transferred the seat over to the corresponding place in the North Stand, it wouldn't really matter as it'd be a mirror view really.

That sun flares straight into the North away end though around this time of the year.

Also, would it be a problem that the club shop and ticket office are at the South end of the ground?

Away ends are nearly always round the back of stadia though, aren't they?
