Leicester sales..

Any recent update? Heard it was 1200 at close of play yesterday. I thought initially we would sell out but not so sure now.

Wouldn't surprise me if we get a second surge should Wigan win tonight and depending on the game not being on TV.

I've said it before I'll say it again, if we don't see this out it's embarrassing

Believe it was around 2200? It's a bigger game than brentford but it's known you only get the support when you're at the other end of the table to what were at.

1500 for brentford.
If we can't sell 2000 tickets for this crucial game I'll be embarrassed. Should have sold out a week ago

Why would you feel embarrassed? It is what it is. Some don't want to suffer the heartache, and that I can understand.

Last game of the season people should want to show their appreciation whatever the outcome. Don't get me wrong 2000 compared to our average home attendance is a lot but we've done it in the past for big games.

A game this big and a half empty away end? That in football terms is embarrassing to me.

If we can't sell out this game a big game that is reasonably priced and not that far too travel it is embarrassing.

I presume you guys were around in '97 when we played Rochdale at OBV - you must have just DIED of embarrassment that day?

I wasn't but I've been at plenty like it. We can't live in the 90s though. We have more chance of getting a result with 2k fans than we do with 1500 there. Fans should want to do their bit as well.

As a matter of fact yes I was, but since then we have moved on as a football club and have grown as a club.. Look how many we took to derby in 08?

The team should be embarrassed that they threw away the chance to stay up, not the fans.

Only problem when we sell out everybody goes to their allocated seats meaning the singers are split up and the people that want to stand are forced to sit down. I for one won't be that upset if we don't sell out, unreserved makes for a better atmosphere and experience over 90 minutes.

Never been embarrassed in my life!! And I've done some stuff Al tell thee!! Always brought up to believe that you choose to feel how you feel, nobody can make you feel anything. Closest I've come is when my mates Dad caught him having a tug on the kitchen floor, mucky book and legs akimbo......I was nearly embarrassed for him, if it wasn't for me laughing so loud.

Completely agree with you there, it does in a way kill the atmosphere with been forced to sit down etc, but I'm sure the players would rather see a full away end than not when they first run out the Tunnel, surely everyone agrees on that.

1500 will still look good enough, I doubt the players even know or care what we've been allocated or how much we have to pay each game etc. Better than the last time i went anyway with 400 others if that.

Compared with Brentford, some of the descrapency may be down to...

Come what may a weekend in sunny West London wasn't a bad extra incentive.

A fair few Doncastrians based in the capital who could get along to Brentford easily.

The excitement of the possibility of promotion isn't quite the same as the anxiety surrounding possible relegation.

At £28 it's not reasonably priced. With a 12.15 kick off it's not the most convenient either.

Disappointing that we haven't sold out yet? Yes.

Embarrassed? Never.

Wouldnt say 12.15 makes it that 'inconvenient'.

Plenty of trains get you to Leicester well in time for KO.
Only a 90 min drive meaning you could set off mid morning and be there with time to spare.

I won't be there should I hang my head in shame, be embarrassed, not a fan? I simply can't afford it, 2 birthdays and a holiday have to take precedence for me. I doubt that I will be the only cash strapped supporter this weekend.

I hope anyone with the intention of not standing up doesn't go and park their arse at the back of the away end and ruin it for everyone who wants to stand and make an atmosphere.

I'm not going, but if I were and having a bad back means standing for long periods I needed to sit down and someone in front of me was constantly stood up, they would sit down whether they liked it or not! You have no consideration for others at all have you?
