Are you in favour of it Wellred?

Ha ha. I am neither for or against at the moment. I cannot influence it either way so it doesn't really matter anyway.

What I will say is that I do not hold the same belief as some on here that the club is currently in the hands of a knight in shining armour, who only has the community at heart.

You never did answer that other question. Would you have preferred it if TB and DW had never been involved with the club?

Of course I am pleased they have been involved with the club. That doesn't mean I have to believe they are whiter than white.

You seem to regard them with suspicion and cynicism and yet I can't think of an instance where they have mislead or have not been open with supporters.

That's what I don't understand.

Someone in the know or believes to be and everyone hanging onto the claiments last words.

Lets see what friday brings, talk is cheap, its getting like Sads circus.

Apart from claiming they rejected the lst deal for "the good of DRFC" to the fans but telling the press it was "because of the finances"?

Sad

Maybe I'm being hopelessly naive here but might it have been because of the finances they were putting into the club?
Or perhaps that if they had proven themselves untrustworthy on payment terms for shares, how could they be trusted to put the stellar investment into the club that they had promised?

The two statements aren't incompatible, TB explained he used the terms of the finance to test the sincerity of SC.

Maybe it is some kind of scheme so that they can write their losses off against tax. I just hope to God it is all sorted out by the end of this week.

Otherwise we will be playing "musical owners" while our rivals are sorting out their squads for next season.

Those criticising TB and DW ought to have been around in the 50's ,60's and 70's when the only hope of survival was to sell our best players at the end of every season .

If Gordon Ramsey/Jamie Oliver is on the way...

Does that mean we'll have like really dead posh food, Chicken Goujons, Buffalo Wings and Mini Pizzas? Instead of ketchup, piri piri dip, perhaps? Campuccino instead of Coffee?

What period of time should those criticising JR have been around in? I'd suggest 1997/98.

Or before sad when he was a director previously....Im actually really disappointed that I now question JR,I was at those meetings in the Earl of Donny and he was and still is a hero and legend for what he has done for the club and I'm gutted that status has been tarnished in my eyes..However its all about the here and now and I was terribly disappointed with how he went about the last takeover,It smacked of manipulation and that day at Barnsley was very selfish...And that's without going into other things that happened....

Grayx,

The feed back I was getting is that SC is not involved and Ryan now distances himself from them which is understandable really as they offered to ditch him to get a deal with our board.

I don't think any agreement made on the TO could block SC stepping in later thats the risk!

Hmmm... perhaps a well known football agent may be involved?
