Why should fans have to pay £x to have their opinions heard.

I am all for finding new revenue streams but my god, we've sold out.

Basically they have set up a trust that people can contribute to and a certain level of contribution will get you 'awards' all based around LTs image.

I actually feel sick if this is the plan for our club. I am all for progression and moving forwards but I actually feel like they have sold the soul of the club down the river to a bunch of 1D fans.

I personally think it's a good idea. The crowd funding gifts seem to be solely aimed at 1D fans. It's a good way of the club getting money from 1D fans around the world.

    This Ladies and Gentlemen is why its important the questions get asked.....Without just going on past glory's and reputation....I can only hope there is a lot more revenue streams to fund this venture because if this is there flagship for long term sustainability....god help us.....

Can't help but go with my gut feeling and agree with Jenny and Robchester at the moment.

If all the 1D stuff spirals out of control and starts having a big impact on the club/supporters then I don't think I'll be able to put up with it. But that remains to be seen.

   it's a elitist closed shop..forget that your a season ticket holder and already contribute...If you don't pay extra your views mean nothing...IRWT has gone out the window in one move.....Basically a girl of 16 with a crush can donate money and get more of a say than we do....unless I'm misunderstanding it.....

I'm not opposed to it per se as long as the money goes directly into the club. Be interesting to see that. What worries me is teenage girls choosing the kit.

What's more important, choosing how different the hoops look each season or having a club that is financially able to push for greater things?  I think it's a good bit of marketing.  The LT connection is there to be used whilst he is bankable celebrity. He won't be forever....

I fear that's basically true. If my season ticket money isn't good enough, would our new owners like to refund it? From what I've read, the club's sold its soul for the same of a fast buck. I'm not sure I really want to be part of any more of JR's crazy money-making schemes.

I agree with Jenny on this one, I'm horrified if this is the future of the club, if they don't have the funds to support the club independently then why buy it.
