So the club ask for donations and the same people who wanted TB and DW to get their hands in their pockets and fund the club go beserk.
Thats ironic or is it that some will gladly ask for money to fullfill their dreams off multy millionairs but jib at joining in themselves

I was hoping LT and JR had also got JC as a backer - I think we need him!

At least this takes the heat out of the England game  :silly:

Have the critics of this idea even bothered to check what it is about, basically individuals, groups or companies pay varying amounts for various packages which exploit Lt celebrity status as the new owner and the biggest band in the world. What is wrong with that? The same folk would be going nuts if Lt 16million twitter followers were not identified as a potential income stream.

As one of JR's biggest critics this is a master stroke. Some people need to wake up.

But what funds the club when the 1D fans grow up?

The same that's funding it now? It's just a money making idea, I don't understand people's issues with it and your argument doesn't work. Are you against any revenue stream that isn't sustainable?

What a surprise that the usual suspect VSC members are pouring scorn on this. To be expected, no wonder your membership and support is dropping - and thank god JR has a good memory.

The same that funds every other league one club. What is your issue with it. Do you begrudge young LT fans the opportunity of meeting an idol whilst helping the club out? Would you be against the squad signing shirts for a rovers auction on the basis they may one day sign for somebody else? How else would you suggest the club exploit Lt celebrity? I'm sure your not daft enough to suggest we shouldn't.

I've nothing against new revenue streams and exploiting LT with club 28 sweatshirts etc. what I object to is for £100 you can vote on the kit, have a say on programme design, web site content, priority to big games and events etc.

What are we about to become.

Two million quid richer? this will help us operate within the financial fair play rules whilst attracting interest in the club. Would you have the same issue if Lt was in The Beatles, a racing driver, or a golf pro?

Why do you object to it? And instead of simply criticising the idea how would you exploit his celebrity?

I have n't got an issue with milking a cash cow for all it's worth, the issue I have is why they need £2M the day before the takeover is completed? Whats the rush? It suggests to me that they either have n't got the funds to buy the club or they are unwilling to commit the funds to buy the club. After that, where do the funds come from to sustain the club? Never mind make a premier league push!

They are exploiting it with club 28 sweatshirts, wristbands etc etc as far as I am concerned but as I say I object to programme design web content vote on the kit et

BTW its £6000  as £500,000 is JRs and LTs
