When were back in the conference maybe? You strike me as a typical football fan that is always impatient for success and when he doesn't get it always blames the manager. If only life were that simple. It is simple people like you that make the job of a football manager virtually impossible these days.I'm not asking for success. But is not wanting a second successive relegation battle too much to ask?Excuse me but it's a bit early to say we're in a relegation battle. Christmas time might be when you might be able to start worrying. What you have to realise and your friends is that blaming the manager at this stage of the season is not going to help. He needs our support. Get behind him and stop making the situation worse than it needs to be.

Quote from: Wellred on September 14, 2014, 04:35:15 pmAt what point will some people stop blaming JR for the position we are in?Anyone with half a brain can work out that we'd have at least gained one more point than we did last season if it weren't for JR's antics. I'll stop blaming him when we're back in the Championship.
At what point will some people stop blaming JR for the position we are in?
On ******* hell!!!I do think he actually believes this shite!

He needs our support. Get behind him and stop making the situation worse than it needs to be. We are hovering just above the relegation places. We have been hammered by two teams at home who have only won one game each (against us)Can you not understand why people are concerned?Exactly how can the situation get worse? It can certainly get better (hopefully) but not sure how you think it can get much worse.
Does he realise that Leeds are currently the third best team in Yorkshire. They are even lower than the Wendies
Quote from: Wellred on September 14, 2014, 05:30:28 pmDoes he realise that Leeds are currently the third best team in Yorkshire. They are even lower than the Wendies If you read my posts you'll see I said club not team. There is no doubt whatsoever that Leeds are the biggest club in Yorkshire. If only all true Yorkshiremen would get behind them, they'd soon be the biggest club in the world. Support your local team by all means but if you want some proper glamour and interest in the top club competitions then it is a no brainer that everyone in Yorkshire needs to get behind Leeds.
Bull . Blame the people of Donny for not supporting there team
Quote from: mjg on September 14, 2014, 05:54:21 pmBull . Blame the people of Donny for not supporting there teamLook, don't get me wrong. I think the local team should be supported by all residents of the town. That's why I support Rovers. However you have to be a realist. Doncaster is not Leeds. Rovers is a bit of fun but Leeds is where it can get quite serious. I'm quite happy with Rovers having the occasional dalliance with the Championship but I want more from my love of the sport.Thats where Leeds comes in. They can provide excitement in the Premier League and Champions League if only the people of Yorkshire would get fully behind them.
I am a Rovers fan and a Leeds fan. The 2 things aren't mutually exclusive you know. I am a realist and realise that Rovers are never going to get in the top league and win the title. However Leeds have already achieved this feat more than once. Leeds are one of the biggest clubs in the world and certainly easily the biggest club in Yorkshire. All you Rovers and Man Utd fans need to realise that Manchester is in Lancashire. What the hell are you doing supporting a team from across the Pennines? As a proud Yorkshireman and realist then I can't understand why everyone in Yorkshire doesn't get behind Leeds. They are the only Yorkshire club capable of holding their own against any club in the world.
